Barndo on the Ridge is located in north Abilene not far from downtown and close to S. 1st. The Barndo sits at the top of a hill surrounded by pure west Texas country. Get away and enjoy the peace of the country, sip coffee on the porches and enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Many wildlife can be seen near the feeders, around the property and flying in the sky. Country Experience at Dug Out Hideaway

The Dug Out Hideaway is on 10 acres in the country, on the side of a mesa. We have hiking trails through a cedar forest. Wildlife such as deer, fox, racoons, and coyotes could be seen at the feeder near the house. Clear beautiful night sky. Spectacular view overlooking Abilene and countryside. Waterfall on back patio with a view of the mountainside. Large fort for kids to play in. Currently under a burn ban with no fire pit use. Fishing pond is not available due to drought.

Simple 2 bedroom duplex (pet friendly but no cats)

Simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. We accept pets, but no cats due to our allergy, sorry!! Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!
