Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the rolling countryside where the only neighbours are the sheep and horses. With beautiful beaches just 40 minutes away and walking trails on the doorstep, this is the perfect bolt-hole to escape and re-charge. For something more lively Castlebar, with its shops, bars and restaurants, is a 15 minutes drive and all this just 30 minutes from Knock Airport. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello.

Sycamore Cottage, 2 bedroom cottage beside the sea

Sycamore Cottage is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Killeenaran, fifteen miles from Galway. All ground floor the cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Sycamore Cottage is a delightful cottage in a lovely part of the country.

Surrounded by excellent coastal and hill walking terrain, it is also a 10 minute drive from the Wild Atlantic Way, the town of Westport and the Great Western Greenway. The apartment is very peaceful,calm and private and is the perfect base for a relaxing getaway,overnight stay or just to enjoy Athlone and the Hidden Heartlands. Halfway between Dublin and Galway and easy to reach the Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara, Cliffs of Moher, Burren Large garden and stream with country lanes to explore, encounter local wildlife and enjoy the sunsets. Bright apartment and sunroom, attached to the main house but with own private entrance and facilities.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
