There are no residences around and it is quiet.Recommended for those who value privacy!It is in a good location, about a 10-minute drive to Hongu Taisha Shrine, and a 5-minute drive to Kumano Kodo Shigawa and Kawayu Onsen, so it is a good base for Kumano travel. This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.

The whole house rental Kumanoyasai BASE.

The accommodation is in Chikatsuyu near Kumano-Kodo. 5min by walk from Chikatsuyu-oji. You can feel nature from the accommodation's window. Also you can see a lot of stars when you sit on the wood deck in night, and see the sun set in evening. There is a supermarket 5min by foot. It's closed 6 pm. I have my coffee shop near the accommodation. You come and enjoy to drink espresso. The plan is included breakfast.

Staying with a nature at a Luxury log house

Japanese log house with BBQ space and private river. You can enjoy fishing a amago, watching beautiful stars. There is a private sauna. After sauna, you can dive into a river. In June you can watch ire flies. All the rooms are made by Japanese special wood , Hinoki and sugi. The smell is amazing. This area is really tranquil and you will be able to make relaxed. And easy to get to Koya-san (40 min by a car)
