It's been furnished to an excellent standard and is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. The biking and walking trails of Mabie and Dalbeattie Forest (7stanes) are close by. Colvend golf course is free to lodge guests. The area is recognised dark sky area.

Our solar powered glamping cabin has glorious views across Loch Long to Loch Goil with no street lights to interrupt the stunning night skies. Enjoy access to the lochs for a swim, kayak or SUP. Numerous locations are nearby for a hike or bike ride then you can return to this perfect refuge for couples or small families, can sleep five but not suitable for five adults. Yoga/meditation, floristry and art workshops are also available. Don't miss Sheila our resident deer and our rescue hens!

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.
