Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Relax with the family at this peaceful home right outside of Blue Lake. Country setting but just 10 minutes from Cal Poly Humboldt. Close to Redwood State Park, beautiful beaches and amazing hiking trails. 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 full bathrooms. Spacious living room and outdoor seating overlooking the large yard, orchard, and barn. 1 car garage with laundry. Depending on the time of year, help yourself to apples and plums in the orchard and fresh eggs from the chickens. Cheers!

Come relax in this guesthouse, loft converted from a 1920’s barn into a cozy redwood hideaway on 0.5 acre lot nestled in the redwoods. You will likely come across deer on the lawn and there is a peak-a-boo view of the bay on the property. You will get to experience the beautiful humboldt mist in the morning coming through the redwoods which typically burns off by mid day to allow for a sunny afternoon.
