Nestled on the bank of the Lewis River on 1.7 acres of alder and fir forest with a creek meandering through the property. A 1200 sq. ft. deck wraps the main house with stairs leading down to the river. There are no neighbors across the river or downstream, so you'll have the sunsets all to yourself. Soak in the hot tub or build a fire and wait for the stars to come out. At 1.5 mi to the Gifford-Pinchot National Forest and Sunset Falls, there are plenty of recreational opportunities.

It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

River’s Rest..only 45 minutes from PDX, and Multnomah Falls, gateway to the Columbia River Gorge. Hiking just minutes away. Huge fire-pit and covered porch over-looking the river. Great if you get to work from home. You have your own Wi-Fi land-line telephone. Once your work day is over you can enjoy what the Columbia Gorge has to offer. EV charging is available. The MAX Orange line and downtown Milwaukie are only five minutes away. Built in 1928, the cabin has one bedroom and bathroom, living room, full kitchen and central heat. The bedroom has one queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is a pull-out queen futon in the living room.

Great location: -5 minutes to Interstate 5 -15-20 minutes to airport -2 blocks to grocery store -1 block to coffee shop -77 walk score, 85 bike score NO CLEANING FEE! Driveway parking Separate entrance Previous guests have been very happy with the comfortable king size bed and how quiet the unit is. The suite has always been pet-free, since the host is highly allergic. Very suitable for those with allergies.

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
