Explore The Glebe from a Charming and Scenic Loft

Lean back on a leather chaise sofa and be submerged in daylight from a set of corner windows in this hip apartment. Fix a cup of coffee in a warm kitchen, walk across light wood floors, and step out onto the balcony for fresh air and lovely views. Amazing views of the Canal, Bank Street bridge, Lansdowne Park and Old Ottawa South. Bright, modern condo with extra space created with a 'murphy bed' style bedroom, stylishly camouflaged. Cool kitchen & custom table to people watch on the street below, coffee in hand. Equipped with apple tv. in cozy lvng rm area, sorry no cable, hate commercials. The balcony is a sweet place to sit and enjoy a moment with a great view of the neighbourhood. Full access. The building itself has no amenities inside. No laundry services available on site. The apartment is located beside Lansdowne Park, facing the Canal and Bank Street Bridge. It sits between Old Ottawa South and The Glebe, surrounded by idyllic homes, quiet streets, parks, and ponds. Restaurants, shops, and bars are just steps away. Bus stop is directly in front of building and is a10 min ride to the Byward Market. Best way to get around is ice skating 100 meters away or bicycle anywhere for summer, you are in the best part of town and within easy striking distance to whatever neighborhood your travels take you to. The city has convenient bike rental kiosks set up in key locations. I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 on site visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a street spot (it’s free but has a 2 hour time limit during the day from 7am-11pm, and no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the daily rate which I believe is about $20. -There are black out shades in bedroom area but it gets bright in the morning if the sun is out so if you are the kind of person that requires complete darkness to sleep stay away. -I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a free street spot (2 hour time limits during the day from 7am-11pm, no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the 20$ daily rate. -The heating and cooling is Geothermal. The AC works perfectly 95% of the time. If its unusually hot out the unit may have a little trouble keeping up to the demand. For example if its set to 22 degrees, the unit may only be able to provide a temperature of 24 degrees during the daytime due to the load requirements. In the evening when things cool off the unit will catch up to the set temperature. But, keep in mind, this type of problem is rare.

Absolutely no parties or loud noise please. We are located in a quiet family neighborhood. Still interested? A family heritage home from 1896. We are in the heart of The Byward Market near 100's of restaurants, boutiques & grocery. A short walk to the famous Rideau Canal. Easy access to miles of cycling & walking trails within the city. A quick drive to Gatineau Park with more hiking & cycling trails coupled with amazing views. Parliament & National Art Gallery of Canada are close by too.

Welcome to Bay Side! Private extra large 1 bedroom apartment with full size kitchen situated in a mature neighborhood downtown Ottawa. The bike path is directly situated in front of the home. Located within less of a 30 min walking distance to the canal, museums, government buildings, shops, restaurants and grocery stores. This is a guest suite attached to the house in peaceful nature with wildlife, less than 30 minutes drive from Ottawa downtown. It has its own separate entrance to give guests full privacy. The living room has a mini kitchenette for light use. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The unit is only rented to one guest at a time; you will have the entire unit during your stay. Starlink was newly installed, and the internet is fast for remote telework!

Great location nestled between rideau canal (5 mins walk) and the rideau river (5 mins walk). Private, cozy 111 year old home with newly renovated upstairs 2 room studio with a bonus loft for an extra 2 guests to sleep.and a futon. a well stocked kitchenette! a stocked washroom incase u have forgotten anything. Definitely not a large space but well set up to handle 4 to 6 guests with the amount of beds !
