Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 25-30 min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars/cafés and boutiques.

'House at the Ria' is located in the green resort of Pedras d’el Rei. Staying here means you’re right by 'Ria Formosa', a long course of sea water with the most wonderful and remote beaches in the Algarve. Here you have all you need only 10 minutes walking distance: restaurants, supermarket, kids club, tennis court, and even a cosy piano bar, located around the swimming pools of the resort, with free daybeds and a lifeguard. It’s the only place near Tavira where you can just walk to the beach!

Situated in between the lighthouse and the sea, and beside a charming park which has bars and restaurants at one end, and opens out towards the sea at the other. Our house is ideally positioned for a summer beach holiday, with spectacular unspoilt beaches within a 5 minute walk. It is also well placed for birdwatching, walking and golf throughout the year. From October to May we enjoy walks along the coast almost on our own, and regularly see dolphins and a wide variety of birds.
