GREAT for business travelers - Close to John Deere PEC / John Deere Waterloo Works; GREAT for Parents of students - 7 Minutes from UNI; GREAT for Holiday visits when you come home to visit family! GREAT for Recreation! CF has lots of Bike trails, great spaces for boating. If you have a way to transport kayaks, use ours. Fire pit, grill, decks for hanging out.

Loft sleeps up to 4 adults, one queen sized bed and 2 high quality full sized futons (pack and play available upon request for small children). Location of home is close to all amenities while just a quick 20 minute drive east to Ames or 12 minute drive west to Seven Oaks Ski Lodge using Highway 30.

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.
