Welcome to Hilo Hale. We designed and built this house around the panoramic view of Hilo Bay and included all the amenities we would expect when traveling. The fastest available 100mbps wifi that covers the entire property, quiet air conditioning in every bedroom\living space, washing machine and dryer, smartTVs with Netflix, Keurig Coffee Maker and much more. Hilo Hale is the house we dreamed of staying at when we travel, and we are very excited to be able to share it with you and your family.

Watermelon House

Located on a full acre lot, this HUGE 3,000 square foot home offers peace and tons of space for your group! A great place to gather, relax, and spread out on the couches between your adventures. This home is on city water, so it is clean and safe - no tank to attract mosquitos. 5 miles to Hilo, 21 miles to Hawaii Volcanoes N.P., 5 miles to Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, 12 miles to Carlsmith park! There is an onsite host in a separate area who will be mostly invisible but there for any needs.

Newly renovated, the Tropical Suite is perfectly located for easy access to the Hilo airport, downtown Hilo shops and restaurants, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, Richardson's and Honoli'i beaches for snorkeling and surfing, Rainbow and Akaka Falls, Kaumana Caves, Boiling Pots, Hawai'i Botanical Garden, Lili'uokalani Gardens and more. With its breezy, comfortable atmosphere the Tropical Suite is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and small families looking for a getaway in paradise.

A beautiful , spacious, top floor apartment with a high slanted ceiling, comfortable sitting area, 48” flat screen HD Oled tv, coffee table, EZ chair and couch. The cozy bedroom has a Queen sized bed with an ocean view! The bathroom has a vanity, mirror, and a shower/bath combo. The Lanai has a great view of the Pacific ocean. The kitchen has a medium sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, hot plate as well as coffee cups, glasses, utensils, dishes and plates.

Hilo Paradise Entire Home that has AC

Your family will be close to everything when you stay here. Only 10 minutes to the Farmers Market and downtown shopping. Less then 10 minutes to Rainbow Falls and about 30 minutes to Akaka Falls waterfalls. You will have a full service kitchen with dining options indoors and outdoors. Fully screened in lanai is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Family friendly accessories.

Good news, I have upgraded my WiFi to the best in our area. I know now our guest needs have changed and good WiFi is a must. We also added a covered deck with a BBQ for your convenience. Volcano Hidden Cottage is centralized location making exploring the East side of the Big Island easy. Very private, Full of Romance, Kitchen, fireplace, and lots of window overlooking rain forest.
