Close to Heron and El Vado Lakes and Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. 40 miles to Pagosa Natural Hot Springs. Perfect for hunters too! Enjoy beautiful views and peace and quiet. Please note that there is one step from the kitchen into the dining room and two steps down into the second bedroom. Enjoy the cozy woodstove in the fall and winter and cool weather in the Spring.

This cozy 2-story home sits on 10 acres in the Chama River Valley, with views of Cerro Pedernal and the mountains. Rustic, cozy, with all basic amenities. Ideal for the solo artist or couple. Hiking + hot springs nearby, including Ghost Ranch, Poshuouingue ruins & Ojo Caliente Springs! Most pets are welcome (for a pet fee). The Casita at Prado Verde Ranch has a rustic feel and will take you back in time. The ranch, located along the Chama River, is a 200-acre working ranch in Abiquiu NM. The main ranch house, well over 100 years old, is home to the Newell family and Newell Cattle. It is winter pasture and spring calving grounds for the cattle. The home site was originally settled by Bartolome Trujillo in the 1734. Pottery shards found in the pastures indicate that this site was a Native American settlement.
