When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

Cheerful 1 bedroom Karoo Cottage

Our delightful Karoo cottage is centrally situated and was an original "Nagmal huisie". The cottage has its own private entrance and is within walking distance to shops, the Karoo Art Hotel, eateries, and bars. Our little cheese factory is located behind the cottage with an inter-leading door which is locked at all times.

Heidelberg is a very historical town,with many old historical buildings.The historical buildings are all numbered and you can do a nice walk and visit them and learn about the history of these houses and buildings.There's 6 history buildings in our street,so when staying with us its all close by.
