Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Beautiful house at Vänern beach on Hammarö

New cottage located 50 meters from the shore of Lake Friend. Kitchen section with fridge, pour, microwave, fully equipped with porcelain, (no oven). Small living room with sofa, coffee table and TV. Bedroom with double bed, bedroom with bunk bed, loft with double bed and a single bed. Private bathroom with shower and vc. Air heat pump! Self outdoor seating area with furniture and barbeque. Possibility to rent wood-fired sauna at an extra cost. The cottage is 40 sqm + the loft. Not so big but nice! Happy if the cottage is left tidy, clean and tidy! Welcome!

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Nice Cabin 6 people with outdoor spa and peaceful location.

Own small cottage of 52m2 + 25m2 loft and large terrace with outdoor hot tub for 6 people. Very modern and nice accommodation for himself with the host in his own house on the plot. Private parking space with space for 3 cars. Directly adjacent to the friend and 12km by car to the main square Karlstad. Small oak with electric motor is available if desired. If you have your own boat, you can leave it at the jetty. In summer, you can borrow a smaller boat with an electric motor (see picture)

1800-tals stuga plus nybyggd extrastuga med varsin toalett och dusch. Sjönära, nära till badplats, egen bastu, brygga, eka, altan, kök, tvättmaskin och samtliga bekvämligheter inklusive wi-fi. Privat soldäck med solsängar, loungegrupp och deluxe jacuzzi. Det finns också två st dubbelkajaker med plats för totalt fyra personer samt två st SUP:ar, allt ingår. Perfekt för barnfamiljer eller om man vill komma bort från staden ett tag. Lysvik ligger 3 km bort med affär och förbindelser. Välkomna

Forest close gives possibilities for hiking, biking, picking berries and mushrooms. 31 slopes and 13 lifts, ski resort Romme Alpin has something for all. In the winter, when the lake is covered with ice, it is also possible to take long walks, skate and ski. For cross-country skiing we recommend Gyllbergen.

The hot tub is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until the end of September, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. A modern house with a stunning view from the large porch with beautiful views over the lake. The newly built guest house is large, light and spacious with high ceilings and fireplace. Newly made beds and cleaning are included. Private beach with access to rowing boat, canoe and SUP. Bicycles are also available. Possibility of a wood-fired sauna with ice bath right by the lake for a low cost. Torsby skitunnel just 5 min away. Wintertime ski trails just around the corner if snow.

Sandbacken modern cottage in the forest

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings. Around 15 min walk to a beautiful lake Toften. Swimming, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, mountainbike ride, ice skating in the winter. Fully equipped house with all year around standards that can accomodate 6 people. It is very quiet and peaceful place. Towels and bedsheets are included ! Rikkenstorp - swedish countryside!

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc.
