Small Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with a dwelling and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a shear at the end of Rekefjord. Original fixtures from the time when the lighthouses with family lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, stalls, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and small kitchen that has been converted into extra bedrooms. There is also a boat garage adjacent to the lighthouse, this one is furnished for outdoor coziness and simple dining.

Designers house beside the baker in oldtown

In a quiet neighborhood by Pedersgata, this gem lies in the middle of an eldorado of eateries. The house is just the right size, newly renovated and furnished with original furniture classics from Scandinavia. In the house next door, baking is still done the old-fashioned way and on Friday there is a queue to secure the weekend's bread. Here you live close to the center with short distances. The airport bus stops nearby and the boats take you to the fjords with Prekestolen (pulpit rock).

Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read the reviews from past guests. The views are striking, the place is sheltered from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Settle down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can swim in a river with fresh mountain water. Small cabin of 14m2 with everything you need. It is situated close to beautiful beaches, family-friendly activities such as swimming, beach volleyball, fishing, and not least fantastic hiking opportunities in the fields and mountains. We have kayaks that can be borrowed for free. Hammock and a fire pit. It is close to public transportation and a shop. The climbing park "High and low" is 5 min by car or bus. The cabin has outdoor shower, kitchen, toilet and double bed

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Great family apartment on the ground floor with stunning views to Lysefjorden. Closer to the fjord you won't be coming The apartment has a double terrace door onto the mountain. You will have a feeling of being “at sea”, once you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with possibility to close down two extra beds if you are many people going to share the apartment. The second bedroom has family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.

Hytten kan by på et soverom med til sammen 2 sengeplasser, bad med dusj, romslig kjøkken og koselig stue med sovesofa. Sengene står oppredde, gryter, kopper og kar er på plass, yatzee, kortstokk. Bose DVD hjemmekino anlegg. Stuen er koselig med en meget koselig hyttestemning, Kjøkkenet er romslig med rikelig med skap og benkeplass. Welcome to Stolpabua! Here you live in rural surroundings just by the sea and the beautiful Jærkysten. We have been using the winter of 2021 to renovate the old cabin that has been here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy it here at Brekkekanten as much as we do. Giljastøl's best viewpoint. Many varied mountain hikes. Fishing and swimming opportunities. Ski in ski out in winter with Gilja Alpin 250m from cabin. After the day's activities, it's good to sink into a hot tub with good massage and enjoy the sunset or starry sky. There is also a sauna in the cabin.
