We are happy to welcome you in our sustainable and non-smoking bed & breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and fully equipped. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transport (5 minutes walk). There is also a sandy beach on Lake Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

The two comfortable rooms with private plumbing are located in the monumental front house of the characteristic farmhouse. In addition to the two rooms, there is a dining room available for guests, where they can meet each other. From the B&B, you will step into the Nienoord estate. Pets are allowed and bringing a horse is negotiable. Dogs leashed on a leash.

In our B&B you can relax in the nature and is cozy. It has a kitchenette with a 1-burner electric hob and terrace on the back. We live near Franeker, on the Elfstedenroute for cyclists and hikers. You can visit here in all directions, to the sea dike, the Wadden Islands and nice towns. You can use an outdoor fireplace, for 5 euros you have a basket full of wood. Breakfast is not included.
