This is a lovely self catering, first floor apartment in a quiet area of Musselburgh. A short walk from the harbor, beach, play park and shops. Approx 8 miles from Edinburgh city centre and 2 miles from Portabello. Musselburgh Race Course is a short walk away, Musselburgh high street a 5 minute walk, Gullane and other golf courses nearby. Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

This cosy farm cottage comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms each with ensuite facilities. Carrick cottage is the upper level of a converted farm building. Please be aware that there is a separate apartment below with separate access and parking. A log burning stove, (first bag provided) will warm up your comfy sitting room quickly, after a busy day in the beautiful city of Edinburgh just 10kms to the north. We are surrounded by woodland walks on country tracks, with very little traffic.
