A short walk across the back lawn leads you to the pond's dock- a great spot to cast a line or soak up some rays!

Guests have walked to Barboursville and Barn 678 Vineyards. 25 minutes from Charlottesville. 11 wineries, 2 breweries & 1 Cidery within 10 miles. 40 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. We are cooks & have furnished kitchen for those that like to cook. We sell local eggs, herbs, preserves, produce and honey harvested on the property. Access to the property is from an exterior stairway.

Relax with your family or put up a bridal party for a wedding at our Homestead Getaway Cottage. We have lots of farm animals and this cottage has the best view of our pasture. Quite setting, but located centrally in Virginia. Come enjoy the history-rich area, float the James river, or go wine tasting at the local establishments in the area.
