Keep it simple at this newly-renovated peaceful and centrally-located basement apartment. 3 miles from Hoover Met and less than 5 miles to Oak Mtn. Park, 20 min to downtown BHM or UAB. You can stay a night or two or a week with all the conveniences of home. This perfect getaway has many highlights like: a fully stocked regular-sized kitchen, W/D in walk-in closet, plenty of storage, large shower, two queen size beds (one regular, one sofa bed), and areas to dine-in or dine-out on the patio.

Our building was built in 1930. The apartment was originally a boarding house that sat above a retail store. While it has been fully remodeled, the exposed brick walls, wood floors, transom doors, and much of the trim are original to the building, retaining its ninety year old charm. The sitting area and the front bedroom each have a door that opens onto the balcony that over looks the downtown entertainment district. The areas best shops, boutiques, and restaurants are on the same block!
