Find comfort in this gorgeous home featuring a lovely backyard pool, both white-water ocean and mountain views, a private entrance, and a luxurious en suite. Go whale watching, head to Salt Creek Beach on walking trails, or catch some sun on the patio of this unique contemporary villa. Walk to Salt Creek Beach or Strands Beach on beautiful walking trails, (never cross a road), use the backyard swimming pool, enjoy full use of the kitchen, living areas, patio, free WiFi, 2 fireplaces, outdoor grill and free driveway parking . The home is within the guard gated community of Monarch Beach. The bedroom is equipped with a comfy queen sized bed, down pillows, flat panel LCD TV connected to a free Netflix-like library of over 2,000 movies & TV shows, full sized private bathroom and a private entrance. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, coffee, a blow dryer, and many more amenities so you can save room in your luggage. Area attractions include a funicular to the beach, Dana Point Harbor, shops and gourmet restaurants. Laguna Beach with all it's art galleries and tourists is just up the road. You'll also be surrounded by spas, boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, golf and many other amenities just minutes away. Located in South Orange County, a 1 hour drive between San Diego and Los Angeles. Disneyland is just 40 minutes away. Our beaches are rated among the top beaches in the USA! Just to be clear, you are renting a single guest room and private bath within our home and your very quiet hosts will be living here during your stay. We will allow you total privacy or we can be available to provide directions or answer any questions. In addition to the guest room, which accommodates two in a very comfortable queen sized bed, you'll have full accesses to the kitchen, living areas, outdoor patio and pool, etc. If you are traveling with a single child who could share your room, we can set up a portable crib or bring in a comfortable twin sized bed for a small extra fee. (Note: the AirBNB notation that this room accommodates 3 indicates 2 adults and 1 small child who will share your room. Please be aware; with the twin bed set up, floor space in the room is a bit tight.) We hope you'll choose our place for your beach area get-away. Once a sleepy surf town, Dana Point now sports a bustling harbor, locally owned restaurants, and more than 30 specialty shops. Walk along paths lined with palm trees and succulents overlooking the water, and spot fishermen hauling in the day's catch. Located in South Orange County, our home is a 25 minute drive from Orange County Airport (SNA), 1 hour from LAX, and 1.5 hours from San Diego Airport (SAN). Safe free parking on our driveway. Public Transit: A 10 minute walk takes you to Laguna Beach and back along Coast Highway. Board the Red Route bus at the Ritz Carlton with exact change ($.75 for adults and $.30 for seniors over 65) and enjoy a tour of the commercial areas along Coast Highway and gorgeous Laguna Beach beaches. A Detailed Guest Review: My fiance and I stayed at the this home in Dana Point in July. We drove down to Dana Point from Northern California in order to attend a wedding of good friends at the nearby Monarch Beach Resort. If you are not willing to pay hefty hotel weekend rates common for the region, this private room rental is exactly what you are looking for. The Hosts C & H are the perfect examples of great Airbnb hosts. The kind, welcoming couple turned our trip to Dana Point into a very pleasant stay of which we will have the best memories for a long time to come. A day before our arrival, H reached out to us by text, confirmed our stay once more and asked us about the approximate time of our arrival in order to be on location once we’d reach Dana Point by car. Right after we rang the doorbell, C & H, appeared at the front door and welcomed us to their home. We immediately were able to connect with our hosts and had great talks about our lives: As it turned out, C’s roots go back to Bern, Switzerland, very close where my fiance and I currently are living. It’s a small world, after all. During the whole stay, both C & H were not intrusive at all and granted us our privacy. They, nevertheless, were readily available in case we had special needs and questions. For example, they let us use their refrigerator to store cheese bought at the local farmer’s market. We also were offered to use the laundry and dryer without hesitation. The Property The home is located within one of the many gated communities in Dana Point, easily accessible from major Dana Point roads through two gates with guards on duty. On our first entrance, the guard - already instructed by the hosts - handed us a pass for the whole weekend. On consecutive entries, we just presented the printout and then were let into the neighborhood. The home is located near the entrance gate, at the end of a cul-de-sac and thus the surroundings are very quiet with no traffic at all. During our stay, we were allowed to park our rental car right in front of the house. C & H showed us the separate access to our private room, which leads along the pool all the way around the house. This separate entrance allowed us not to bother the hosts when we came and went. The big terrace is protected from wind and noise by a glass fence which provides a breathtaking view of Dana Point, the sea and sunsets. We didn’t use the pool or the beach chairs, but we assume it’s great to relax at the side of your own private pool with this great view. Inside the private room, the bed is big and comfortably fits two people. Plenty of closet space is provided to stow away luggage and clothes. The bathroom is equipped one toilet, two sinks and a bathtub/shower. Water pressure from the shower-head was great, and also warm water was readily available. Plenty of fresh towels had been piled up for the two of us. Free WiFi is provided, as well as a TV with some 2000 streaming movies and TV shows provided free of charge. You get keys for both the home as well as the door for a pathway which leads you to the beach within a few minutes of walking. The hosts also have prepared a map to show you where exactly the path leads you and which turns you have to take. Within the home you'll find H’s signature decor. Her decoration style and the attention to detail makes you immediately feel at home. And we've rarely been at a cleaner home than this one. Flawless! Bigger Fish Ocean View Condo Across From San Clemente Pier

Luxury, epic ocean view condo that's a stone's throw from the San Clemente Pier. Completely remodeled with an organic modern feel. Bigger Fish features a 180 degree penthouse view from the kitchen, dining and living room. Relax on the large Lanai, entertain in the full chef's kitchen and fall fast asleep in cloud like beds. Amenities include central AC, DirectTV, gas BBQ, full washer/dryer and a two car garage with parking for up to 5 cars. All of this and it is located less than 200 steps from the beach. For larger parties or reunions book the entire building (Big Fish & Bigger Fish). "WOW, the pictures don't do it justice", is the comment we most often get when guests walk into Big & Bigger Fish. You aren't just close to the beach, you're AT the beach! 2 large glass bifold doors bring the deck, ocean breezes and California sunshine right into your kitchen, dining room & living room on the penthouse level. The lower level has a second living room with gorgeous ocean, sand and white water views. Skylights fill this condo with plenty of natural light, making for the perfect California vacation. The beds are comfy with cloud like comforters that keep you the perfect temperature while the sounds of the waves lull you to sleep. Cozy throw blankets & an infrared heater are available for cooler mornings or evenings on the deck. AC for those warmer days and nights. Our towels are soft and our linens are silky smooth. Check the surf while you take your morning shower. Hot outdoor shower to wash the beach off sandy bodies and feet. Parking is a breeze. We provide all you need for beach days. You'll never want to leave! Our warm outdoor shower will have you ready for some serious R & R after your day at the beach. We also have a foot washer near the front entrance, to keep sandy feet at bay. We like to welcome you into the property and walk you through the amenities. The condo is in the popular Pier Bowl, which includes the San Clemente Pier and Beach, Parque Del Mar Park, and walking and biking trails. Avenida Del Mar, filled with exceptional dining spots and unique shops, connects to downtown San Clemente. Take the 5 freeway and exit at El Camino Real or Palizada. Drive toward the ocean on Del Mar street to get a feel for the town and you'll head right for Bigger Fish. Public transportation is available with the San Clemente Shuttle, a service that picks up right across from the pier. CITY TAX FEE: The city of San Clemente charges a 10% tax for all short term rental bookings. This amount plus 10% tax fee on housekeeping will be requested through Airbnb after you book your reservation. We have electronic door and garage codes to make it easy for you to get in and out. There is also a separate beach storage closet for all of your beach needs with a separate code. We'll provide all of these for you prior to your arrival. Please text us with your arrival eta so we can meet & welcome you into the property. Check in is typically at 4:00. During peak & busy seasons, we enforce a strict check out time of 11:00am. This ensures that our cleaning crew has enough time to prepare for our next guests. We want everyone to walk into a sparkling clean vacation experience. Late guests result in additional cleaning fees. Check outs after 11:00am may be charged $100 per hour for each hour late.

Family Beachfront Home with Rooftop Deck

Grab a kayak from the garage and spend the day exploring the coast from this homey beachfront retreat. Fire up the grill for leisurely evening dinners, or curl up in the leather and rattan armchair and sip a chilled glass of wine. This house will make you feel at home on the beach. With a full kitchen, two living rooms, and great top deck there is a space for everyone. You will have the whole house and access to all of the toys/bikes in the garage. We will have a manager on-site to help with check in and check outs. The manager's number, are on call at all times, and can be there in less than 10 min. for any issues. Located near the Newport Pier, there are hundreds of great places to eat, shop and play within walking distance. With a safe, friendly town square 40 yards away, the children can roam in a secure environment. The best way to experience Newport is by the boardwalk. Either walking or riding bikes. This house comes with 8 bikes. Plenty enough to take everyone out for a fun ride! Make sure to lock the bikes up when you go.

Perfect Spot with Garage, Private Deck, Bikes & Beach Toys

A two-minute walk to the beach! This bright one bedroom beach pad with peek-a-boo beach view is ideal for a couple but can sleep up to 4 with the use of air beds, although 4 adults will find it tight. The private deck has a gas BBQ, comfy swivel rockers, two chaise lounge chairs and a fire pit. Your shared garage has bikes, beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and lots of beach toys. A signed rental agreement is required to confirm all reservations. 4 guest max including infants. NO PARTIES!

We are located on the Balboa Peninsula and are one block away from a tranquil beach marina where you can paddle board and watch boats go by. On the other side, we are two blocks away from the Balboa Beach and the Pier where you can surf, play in the waves, walk the shops and frequent the restaurants. Our townhouse is perfect for large families and groups. The kitchen and family room are on the third floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd floor.

Outstanding location near the entrance to the Peninsula with a peekaboo view of a lovely canal. You will have easy access to Pacific Coast Highway and other parts of Orange County, yet you are only 2 blocks from the ocean and a 7 minute walk to 32nd St. Beach. Newport Pier, where you’ll find great surf spots, the best beaches and good restaurants is a 15 minute walk away. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood, so party people should look elsewhere.
