It's also a short drive from the village of Cerne Abbas's pubs and restaurants, as well as its famous chalk figure giant. The cottage is on a working farm. Shepherd's cottage is a delightfully cosy annexe with it's own private entrance and own cottage garden. Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

Lovely self contained annexe set in the beautiful surroundings of the Jurassic coast. There is a cosy double bedroom with a king size bed (which can be set up as 2 x 2ft 6 singles), shower room and a well equipped kitchen/dining/living room which has a sofa bed. The property has its own pretty courtyard garden and off road parking for one car. The annexe is part of our main house although completely self contained and therefore you may occasionally be aware of the normal sounds of family life

We are a Modern Stone built cottage in beautiful village. Private secure gated parking for 2 guest cars. We love our local pub The Springhead which is 1 minute walk away, set around a duck pond with willow trees. There are numerous country and coastal walks nearby and we welcome dogs. We live upstairs but you are completely separate to us and left alone. There is 2 large bedrooms a kitchen equipped with small mini oven and microwave, bathroom inc bath and shower and comfortable lounge.

Pixon Barn is situated on a working farm on the Jurassic Coastline within an easy driving distance to Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, and Abbotsbury. It is located next to numerous bridlepaths, perfect for avid walkers, cyclists and lovers of the countryside. We welcome any and all well behaved dogs. There are three pubs all within walking distance, aswell as a farm cafe and shop located 5 minutes away. Best ice-cream around!
