A beautiful five bedroom converted barn in Sud-Charente in France with a separate one bedroom cottage and swimming pool. With five bathrooms, two kitchens, underfloor heating & full wheelchair access throughout the property. The property has an enormous central living room with sofas around the fireplace, leading onto a covered terrace for dining and out onto a stepped garden down to the pool. A charming Logis de chasse (hunting lodge) dating from 1666, on the edge of the village of Saint German de Montbron, nestling in the beautiful Charente countryside. We have two very spacious bedrooms, a large salon, kitchen and bathroom. All is fully modernised. Access to the garden for outdoor dining, barbecue, all in a very pretty garden. Use of the owners above ground pool and 2 acres of garden. We also have a second gite, for two people, listed on Airbnb, making it ideal for larger groups.

The village of Baignes is just 5km south or the market town of Barbezieux is just 8km away. We are about 10km from the national route N10 which is half an hour from Angouleme. Cognac Golf course is around 36km away and Hirondelle Golf Course is 42 km. The nearest airport is Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, 90 km from the accommodation.
