Swallow Cottage, Auldgirth - north of Dumfries.

Swallow Cottage was lovingly converted by Steve and Sarah from McMurdoston's old granary in 2014 and provides a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from a 24-hour supermarket, a cinema and numerous eateries, but once you get here you'll feel as if you are truly in the middle of nowhere. We live just across the yard if you need us and we'll do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and quietly memorable.

Deluxe glamping pod in private garden in rural South West Scotland. No noisy campsite interference. Children welcome but need supervision in garden as we have a pond and stream. Double bed, small Sofabed, bedding/towels, shower, toilet, hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, table, stools. TV, Wi-fi. Patio table/chairs, BBQ/firepit. Washing machine. Beautifully restored bothy for two within a larger traditional barn. Sits in 1 acre of meadow. Perfect to explore all that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer. Located in Gatelawbridge, nestled within the southern upland hills yet just over a miles from independent shops, cafes, pubs and with amenities in the lovely ducal village of Thornhill. The Bothy has great original character, cosy, comfortable, well equipped with everything you need. It is welcoming with an emphasis on being immaculate.

Valley View is my cosy detached house situated in a semi-rural location within 10 minutes drive from both Dumfries town centre and Thornhill. There are many things to do in Dumfries. It can be a parkland golf course, mountain bike trails at the 7 stanes, camera obscura, a farmers market, restaurants, children's play parks, hills, rivers, forest walks and much more. Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.

Kirkland Cottage

Kirkland Cottage is completely self-contained and is attached to our main house in an enclosed, secluded and large garden. Although only two miles from Dumfries Town Centre it is in a quiet, rural location. There is ample parking beside the cottage and a lockable room for storage of bicycles and other leisure equipment. The cottage provides a great base from which to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the immediate locality.

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.

Great, modern 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of Dumfries centre. The living area comes with a large corner sofa bed and wide screen smart TV. There is two bedrooms: 1 with a comfy king size bed and the other with 2 single beds. The good- sized kitchen is well stocked with an induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and washing machine. The bathroom comes with walk in shower, sink, WC and toiletries.
