The 18 meter long, open entertainment area includes a large dining room table, slow combustion fire and huge open fireplace. Constructed from local hardwood timber, the house is imbued with a distinctive Australian aesthetic and the walls are decorated with botanical eucalyptus drawings. Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. Our council approved accommodation consist in on 1 bedroom self contained cottage in the heart of Stanthorpe. Imagine the perfect country retreat and it would probably look something like 'Casita de Bosque'. Peaceful, charming and cosy, the cottage is a graceful mix of period charm and modern facilities. Please note that there three cottages in the property "Casita de Bosque" is the one bedroom more secluded cottage....green and with full water tanks (January 2020) to enjoy your spa. .

Warranfels Homestead

Warranfels Homestead is far enough out of Tenterfield to be peaceful and quiet, but is a convenient 10 minute drive away, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The house was built in 1910 and has recently been lovingly restored to it's former glory. It is a grand house with country charm and plenty of room for the whole family. It is situated on 10 acres in the centre of an operating farm. There is approximately 1km of unsealed dirt road after you turn off the Mt McKenzie Road.

Our house is situated in a great position just a few minutes walk to town, cafes, parklands, Quartpot creek, The big thermometer and tourist info centre. Can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 b/rooms.This can be 2x queen b/rooms and a double b/room or a room with 2x single beds.The house has air conditioning and a fireplace so you won’t be cold. All firewood is supplied. We have a lovely terrace with views of Mt Marlay and the town. plenty of off street parking. Dog friendly. Up to 2 dogs.

Davadi Cottage is our dream country escape, we have lovingly restored this old Queenslander into the home that is today brimming with character but with modern conveniences the perfect blend for a charming weekend. Three queen size bedrooms comfortably fits six people, perfect place to spend time with friends and family. The location is just 5 mins walk to the main street which is great for going out at night, no need to take the car!, but only a short drive to all the wineries .
