Superb cabin in sunny Telemark

Are you ready for a vacation in the tranquility of the beautiful and unspoilt countryside of Norway? Looking for sporting challenges in the mountains, in and on the water, or in winter in a snow sure environment, with ski touring on or off the beaten path? Or are you looking for a place where you can unwind, equipped with every possible comfort, with all the beneficial features that you can wish? Or possibly looking for a place to discover Norway, land of dramatic scenery, clear water, fresh air, space, silence and relaxed people? Then please feel welcome in our norwegian cottage StoreVenn, completed in 2010, a traditional wooden house, fully designed and equipped for 6 persons. With a spacious living room, a partially open kitchen, large partially covered porch, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and sauna, you can find all the conveniences for a wonderful holiday. The house is situated on a peninsula (Storodde) in the beautiful Vråvatn lake, in the sunny province of Telemark in southern Norway. In summer you can hike, play golf, ride horse, swim, fish, canoe or sail. In winter there are in the immediate vicinity numerous winter sports: skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, or just go with a sleigh. On our own site you pick blueberries, cranberries and raspberries. Elk, deer, badgers, foxes and other wildlife at sunset bring regular visits to your terrace and if you like you can go on beaver or moose safari. During the day, enjoy a good book on the sunny porch and in the evening look in the flames of the fire inside or outside. In short, holiday at its best, in every season of the year!

Small cabin by Vråvatn

Small cottage, 1 bedroom and living room/kitchen. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Small fireplace in the living room. Kitchen with fridge/freezer, hot plate and small dishwasher. The sofa in living room is a sofa bed. No TV. About 100 meters down to Vråvann with possibility of fishing and swimming. No laundry service available. (URL HIDDEN) for ski slopes. All guests must clean up after themselves as I don't always make the time to check in between guests. Note - New landfill landfill - map/directions are located in the cabin.

Romantic storehouse with bathroom and shower in the barn

Stay in this romantic little staff shed on a farm in the West Telemark from the 1500s. The upper floor is furnished with double bed, sofa that can be turned into sofa bed, chairs and table. Coffee maker, water boiler and fridge on site. Enjoy lazy days at a farm with history back to the 1500s, short distance away from Eidsborg stave church and Vest Telemark museum, which has a myriad of things to show off, and which also has a restaurant. Great starting point is to walk Lårdalstigen, and bathing area in the lake below.

Idyllically located cabin in the mountains w/road/electricity

👉 Private beach, rowboat and 3 SUP boards. 👉 No neighbors close by or people walking by the cabin. 👉 The lake is regulated which causes the water level to vary significantly 👉 Outdoor grill + fire pit 👉 Electricity, fireplace, indoor toilet with incinerating toilet and outside toilet. 👉 The cabin has internet and smart TV. 👉There is no running water, but only 30 meters to get water from Hylebuvannet right outside the cabin. You can shower in "regular way" with pump shower (you manually heat water)

Sleep at the granary

Nigard Lid is an idyllic gem set for itself in scenic surroundings by a small water. Here you can go for a walk in the woods or take advantage of the opportunity for a fresh morning bath down in the water only about 50 meters below the grain warehouse. Waking up early morning at Nigard Lid provides a peace of mind to experience. The treacherous vibe with mist ice over the water crust and clear autumn air, or birds chirping and humming of homles, -this is some of the uniqueness of this space. Welcome!

Hovden farm in Høydalsmo

Idyllic farmhouse with great views. Located sheltered but at the same time a short distance to Høydalsmo and Åmot. If you want to have it relaxed and quiet around you, then this is the place. Nice hiking opportunities in forests and fields. In wintertime, there are miles of ski slopes just outside. Lots of opportunities like ice fishing, skiing activities and only 20 minutes to ski center on Rauland. Possibility of fishing with rod. Private boat on site by the beach. Høydalsmo Øyfjell Telemark

En vestvendt terrasse med flott utsikt, sol til kl 22 om kveld på sommeren og uden innsyn fra naboerne ellers terrasse mod øst og syd også. Indhold: lys stue med pejs og hyggelige plasser kjøkken med peis, sitteplasser med utsikt til vest og vinduer mod syd, Vor hytte er indrettet for privat bolig, indeholder den ting samlet gjennom vårt mangfoldig liv rundt i verdenen , som vi synes gjør den spesielt.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay while exploring Telemark. This cottage takes you back to a more simple time, away from the pressures of modern day living. Whether it's winter or summer, you will always find something to do in this beautiful part of Norway. Berry picking in the summer, mushrooms in the autumn and skiing in the winter. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Private lawn and fire pit. About 100-150 m from the house you have access to swimming area, boat, volleyball court, playground and football field. Roller skiing of 1 km and ski trails of 2,3,5,10 and 25 km just below the house. Joker, gas station and cafeteria with pub some walking distance. The place is about 20 -30 min from Dalen, Lårdal, Åmot, Rauland and Seljord.
